Product brief introduction

The open mixing mill is designed for batch mixing of plastics and rubber. It comprises two side-by-side rollers whose gap can be regulated. Its key task is to provide well-plasticized and uniformly mixed material to downstream equipment such as the calender. During operation, the counter-rotating rollers apply shear and compression to the rubber. Continuous kneading encourages both mixing and chemical reactions, breaking down long molecular chains so that fillers, additives, and polymers are consistently dispersed, fulfilling the requirements of rubber mixing.
